Anas qualified as a dentist from the University of Aleppo in Syria in 1999. He moved to England in 2000 where he has been working ever since in a wide range of dental practices, and where he has joined numerous Universities and Colleges to further develop his professional qualifications and experience.
He was successfully awarded a Masters degree in Oral Surgery in 2002 from the University of Manchester. Following that, he continued his training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through working in various NHS hospitals across the UK, receiving a wide range of experience from working with several Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Consultants. In 2005 he successfully passed the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh exams and was elected as a member of the College in 2006 and was appointed as Specialty Dentist at North Lincolnshire NHS Trust.
Anas realised that placing and restoring dental implants is a very skilled procedure and requires a great deal of precision and expertise so he started his extenstive implantology training in 2009, and he successfully completed an 18 months comprehensive 1-2-1 implant training course at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield. Following this, he enrolled himself in the MMed Sci Dental Implantology Master’s programme at Sheffield University and was awarded a Master’s degree in Implantology with a Merit. This has allowed him to gain a great depth and breadth of experience in planning and surgically placing dental implants.
He uses Nobel Biocare implant system, a system which was created by Professor Brånemark who placed the first successful dental implant in human beings in 1978, making this particular implant system the leading, first and most researched and tested system.
