Consultation for Dental Implants

Thank you for your interest in Dental Implants at Mint Dental Care.

Treatment in our practice includes five key steps:

Step 1: You will need to book an appointment for an Implant Consultation with one of our dentists. During this appointment, we will provide a full dental examination of your teeth and gums to check on your viabilty for treatment. We will also be able to have a discussion with you about what dental implants are, how they work and what treatment would involve for you - in addition to you being able to ask any questions or queries you may have. The cost for this appointment is £50, plus any xrays that are required.

Step 2: If you are found to be dentally fit and healthy, and therefore considered viable for implant treatment, we will then need to take a CBCT scan. This will allow to use locate all nerves within your jaw so that we can perform high precision oral surgery to ensure your implants are in placed safely and accurately. The cost for a scan is £150.

Step 3: Oral surgery will then take place for us to place the Implant base (abutment) in your jaw. As a guideline, the cost of a single Implant base is £1600.

Step 4: Once your new Implant base (abutment) has healed, you will be asked to return for us to place a new Implant Crown onto the base so to provide you with a tooth-coloured, natural-looking new tooth. As a guideline, the cost of a Implant crown is £1600.

Step 5: Regular after care appointments will then be organised for you to see our Hygienist so that we can ensure your new implant, and surrounding teeth and gums, are in optimum health. This is imperative for the long-term survival of your new implant. Cost a hygiene appointment is £50 however we do also offer a Implant Care plan for our implant patients.
